The Construction Progress in North Cyprus
Stage 1: Sales Agreement
In this first stage you and Unity Ltd. sign the sales agreement.
Stage 2: Pre-Construction
You will receive a tentative construction schedule to keep you involved in the process. You can always find the latest construction schedule on the homepage of the related projects, on our website.
Stage 3: Foundation
Make sure you are happy with the layout of your house, because after this stage it's literally set in stone. The foundation stage is devoted to the construction of the foundation of your home. The site infrastructure for electricity, water and sewer systems also begin at this stage.

Stage 4: Framing
This is the skeleton of your home. Floors, walls, stairs and the roof are constructed but your home isn't closed in just yet.
Stage 5: Exterior Finishes
This stage is just what it sounds like, finishing the exterior of your house. Brickwork is completed and from the outside, your house is beginning to look like a home – but inside there's more work to be done!

Stage 6: Mechanicals
At this stage mechanical aspects such as wiring and plumbing and the infrastructure work of the air conditioning units are completed. The pipes and wires are still exposed at this stage; there are a few more stages before the interior is complete.
Stage 7: Insulation and Air Sealing
This stage is designed to keep you and your family comfortable in the house. Gaps are sealed and insulation is added to keep outside air outside and the inside temperature to your liking.
Stage 8: Floor Finishes
The marble and/or parquet flooring are finished accordingly.
Stage 9: Interior Finishes
This is likely to be an exciting stage for you, as it's when the house really starts to look finished. Your walls and ceilings are filled in; bathroom ceramics are placed and bathroom equipments are fixed, interior doors are installed along with, shelving, cabinets, countertops, and mirrors. The plumbers and electricians return to finish their jobs, installing registers, faucets, and light fixtures and appliances.

Stage 10: Exterior Doors and Windows
The exteriors doors and PVC windows are installed. Now, your house is fully closed.
Stage 11: Kitchen Cupboards and Wardrobes
The kitchen cupboards and wardrobes are installed. Worktop is installed and ceramics are covered in the kitchen.
Stage 12: Wrought Iron Work
The balcony rails, interior and exterior stairs rails and entrance gate are installed. Now, your house looks fully completed.
Stage 13: Pool and/or Garage
Now that there will be no more heavy vehicle traffic in your garden, it is the time to built your pool and/or garage. At this stage Unity Ltd. architects demand your contribution. The architects' recommendations and your preferences will contribute to decide upon the shape and location of the pool in your garden.
Stage 14: Landscaping
This stage marks the beginning of the end. Your yard is formed including any driveways or walkway. Your garden is made ready for the plants with fertile soil finishing. To finish it all off, plantings such as trees, shrubs, and grass are added, but planting is not under the responsibility of Unity Ltd.. As a sample, below are the drawings which our architects prepared in accordance with our customer's demands and the photo, showing the work done in the villa (Olive Grove Homes Plot 27) accordingly.

Stage 15: Electricity and Water Connections
Electricity and water connections of your house are made to the mains and you personally apply to the electricity and water offices for the meter connections to be done to your name. At this stage, Unity Ltd. staff will guide you through to finish within hours.
Stage 16: Pre-Closing
While the landscaping is being finished, final inspections are being conducted. If any problems are found, they are repaired before entering the next stage. Once any repairs are made all remaining construction materials are removed, and the home is cleaned and ready for the closing.
Stage 17: Closing
Before you can own the home, you'll be walked through the house and have mechanical systems and appliances explained to you. Use this time to ask questions about how the home operates. Minor repairs, such as paint touch-ups can also be requested in this stage. A few days after the walk-through you'll sign papers and the house will be yours!
Stage 18: Warranty Period
This stage extends a year after closing. During this time, the home is covered under a warranty that specifically spells out what kind of problems the builder (Unity Ltd. or other respectful building company whose project Unity Ltd. agreed to publish on this website) is responsible for. Before entering this stage, your builder should tell you what to look for during the warranty period. Unity Ltd. provides 10 years of construction (skeleton) guarantee and one year of guarantee for all other structural aspects of the house like plastering, painting, insulation, pipes, connections, etc.
