Facilities Offered in Esentepe Village

The Esentepe Ataturk Park’s construction was completed and opened to public use in 1982-83; and the grassing and renovation project for the park was successfully completed in the year 2004. At May 2005, the enlargement of the Ataturk portrait sculpture has added an exceptional value to the park. The constructed arbor with its historical work of art appearance within the park, along with the park itself and the mosque situated side-by-side, actually complement each other in such a setting. The park is situated at the center of the village and it is possible to see people visiting this park at every hour of the day.

The Esentepe wedding park was constructed in 1990, but because of economical reasons the park is yet to be fully completed. Though, not having a wedding park within the region till 1990 has actually solved the problem. Along with aimed projects to be carried out, it is certain that the wedding park will present an aesthetical and environmental beauty, expected to be one of the finest places of location within the village.

When entering Esentepe through the mountain road, the police station is located approximately 300 meters ahead on the left hand side of the road. The Esentepe Primary School was established in 1974 for the service of the public. Just like the middle school, the primary school possesses a beautiful appearance with surroundings of pine trees along with the latest environmental arrangements made in the area. This school provides service for various students that come from Esentepe-Bahçeli and Karaağaç, and students that graduate from this school usually attend the Esentepe middle school. Besides providing a successful education, Esentepe Primary School has also achieved success through the Girl’s Volleyball team, by accomplishing the regional championship in Turkey and displaying such success to be envied.

Uniting wholly with green pine trees, Esentepe Secondary School presents such a unique beauty. In order to present beneficial individuals to those living in Esentepe-Bahçeli and Karaağaç, Esentepe has been providing education and teaching since 1975-76. The Esentepe Secondary School is situated on the road to Alevkaya, forming a beautiful appearance between the sea and the forest. Also, while on the snake-like wiggly road towards Esentepe, the Esentepe Secondary School appears as a big building for the area. This charming and awe-inspiring school provided education to 58 students during the 1975-76 teaching years. As for now, approximately 100-120 students graduating from this secondary school succeed in placing their names in the honor lists of the high schools they attend. Also, Esentepe Secondary School, not to be despised, has been successful in a variety of sport activities.

The Esentepe Health Center being situated at the centre of the village, was established in 1979, despite that only two years later a doctor had arrived to the village. In other words a doctor came to the village in 1981. At present, the health centre has passed through general amendments in order to be suitable for our modern world. With our day-by-day growing region and an increase in the population, in such a developing area where a fire brigade and labor machinery are available, it is sad to mention that at such a period there isn’t an ambulance available for service at the Esentepe Health Center.
