Esentepe Harbour & Esentepe Small Lake

This small harbour which was built in 1970 was made for the soul purpose of providing shelter for those who made a living with fishing in the area. The constructions here that were made of sheds, in time were blown away and now the wind blows in their places. Situated very much below the road level, the Esentepe harbour is on the way to Bahçeli, 3km away from Esentepe. It is possible to see through out the whole of the harbour road that Esentepe is united as one with nature.

The actual reason for the construction of the small lake of Esentepe is to nourish water resources and in time this small lake has gained a natural beauty, and besides its main aims it has presented a visual beauty to its appearance. It is certain that here you will be able to hear a variety of sounds of birds amongst the cormorants, and watch the ducks dancing with the water in such a beautiful appearance.
