Recently the Greek Cypriot administration announced that their government issued European Arrest Warrants (E.A.W.'s) against four businessmen from Northern Cyprus. Turkish Cypriot businessman Aziz Kent (Con Aziz) is one such person and he traveled to his house in the U.K. without any problems.

The declaration that Greek Cypriot administration issued arrest warrants against investors in Northern Cyprus, who supposedly stole Greek Cypriots property, turned out to be false information. Despite the claims by the Greek Cypriot press that these for people would not be able to travel outside Northern Cyprus and Turkey, Aziz Kent flew to Stansted on 5 th of June and then traveled to his house. He was not arrested during the time that he spent in the United Kingdom.

Aziz Kent admitted that he was a bit nervous because of the supposed 14 month prison sentence. He also commented that he came to England to start a legal battle against the Greek Cypriot administration and that he would fight the injustice that is done against himself and other Turkish Cypriots.
